I'm not a fan of Agatha Christie's books, however I was intrigued when I read somewhere that she had accompanied her archeologist husband on his digs in the Middle East. This autobiography is an interesting read. She certainly led an adventurous life - from living in Egypt when she was 16 to taking the famous Orient Express after her first marriage, to trekking to Syria and Iraq with her second husband. One can see how her world travels found their place in some of her most famous works like Murder on the Orient Express and Death on the Nile.
