This darn book. I waited and waited for 'I Owe You One' from KCLS then found myself slogging through the first 200 pages or so, asking myself why I was wasting my time. . . THEN I stayed up until 2:30am to finish it. What I found interesting about 'I Owe You One' is the writing of the supporting and minor characters. The brother, his girlfriend, the sister, the uncle, the old heart-throb: it is so easy to picture them in your brain, they are so aptly written. On the other hand, I also actually like not being able to visualize Fixie, the main character, because if she doesn't know who she is, how can we? My only complaint about 'I Owe You One' is how quickly Fixie jumps into sex with her 'leading men'. That is not romance, it's just . . . sad? Desperate? Need for validation? Yes. 3.5 Stars, Mid C
