This is a truly inspiring tale from a truly inspiring girl. I actually had the fortune of meeting Maria Toorpakai last year at the Peace Medal Breakfast, where she was a central speaker. Her story is one that brings readers to awe and bafflement, as her courage and determination stand as true testimonies to her strength. I still wonder at how she was able to endure all the threats, and still do, from participating in what she loved (squash) just for being a girl. I believe that there are many like her out there in the world, trying to change their sections of it step by step. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone, and everyone.
