The end of this book frustrated me. I read Torn prior to reading this novel. Once again, I thought the author portrayed the teenagers thoughts, actions, and emotions realistically. This is not a bad thing, I just find it hard to relate because I’m way beyond my teen years. The behaviors of the main character made me want to reach into the book and shake her. The pain and anger caused by the loss of her bestfriend completely consumed her. She was so bent on revenge that she missed out on real opportunities to be happy. Sometimes hindsight occurs so late, that mistakes made now cannot be rectified later.
