"The future is bulletproof, the aftermath is secondary. It's time to do it now and do it loud. Killjoys, make some noise." To the sorry few that haven't read this book and it's album, the above will seem like a code, or a bunch of random words slung together. To those that have listened and read the previously mentioned, you will have heard these words and sing, dance, scream, and cry. This book follows the story after the story in the My Chemical Romance album Danger Days. It is an odd concept, having an album and a comic linked in such a way, but it is done seamlessly. Gerard Way (lead singer of My Chemical Romance) and Shaun Simon weave together a beautifully crafted story that is only enhanced by the art of Becky Cloonan. I recommend this book to fans of action, fans of amazing art, rebels, and all those in love with Rock and Roll. Just a side note, but I would recommend listening to the album and watch it's corresponding music videos. They will really help explain the backstory a bit, as that isn't really explained in the book. (My only negative point.)
