"At fourteen, Nick Gautier thinks he knows everything about the world around him. Streetwise, tough and savvy, his quick sarcasm is the stuff of legends. . .until the night when his best friends try to kill him. Saved by a mysterious warrior who has more fighting skills than Chuck Norris, Nick is sucked into the realm of the Dark-Hunters: immortal vampire slayers who risk everything to save humanity. Nick quickly learns that the human world is only a veil for a much larger and more dangerous one: a world where the captain of the football team is a werewolf and the girl he has a crush on goes out at night to stake the undead. But before he can even learn the rules of this new world, his fellow students are turning into flesh eating zombies. And he's next on the menu. As if starting high school isn't hard enough. . . now Nick has to hide his new friends from his mom, his chainsaw from the principal, and keep the zombies and the demon Simi from eating his brains, all without getting grounded or suspended. How in the world is he supposed to do that?" --From the publisher.

The first installment of the ‘Chronicals of Nick’ series, while the title gives little information about this book, all you need to know is that, what you read on the back is exactly what you are going to get. Infinity is apart of a larger series, however it takes place in an alternative version of Sherrilyn Kenyon’s previous books. Now, Infinity is a fun and enjoyable read which applies primarily to teens but can still be enjoyable for older audiences. The main character is your so called stereotypical teen, for some, he’s difficult to relate to. But for others, they know exactly why he acts the way he does and Sherrilyn Kenyon does a fantastic job showcasing how the main character and others think and act without throwing it in your face. Plus, the humor in the story works perfectly, generally coming from the snarky teenager himself. Overall, the story is well done and it sets a good view for the books to come

Infinity is the first installment of the Chronicles of Nick series. As the title suggest, this series centers on Nick Gauthier, a Cajun from New Orleans with a real talent for back talk, getting into trouble, and…. Hunting zombies?

For those who have already read the Dark-Hunter series and believe they know Nick Gauthier, you couldn’t be further from the truth! Sherrilyn Kenyon once again proves her writing brilliance with just the right infusion of butterfly effect.

Menyons will also be interested to know that this book is currently being converted for the big screen with Sherrilyn Kenyon herself writing the screen play!

Read it before it’s out!

Awesome story. I love Nick and am glad I read this series before starting the adult Dark-Hunter series. it helped me to understand Nick better and to be in the know when something happens that leaves readers who haven't read about younger Nick reeling a bit. Recommend the whole series.

This book is everything a teen zombie novel should be - witty, sarcastic, full of action, and even has a touch of puppy-love (Nick is 14 after all, full of raging hormones and all that jazz.) Terrific read, can't wait for the rest of the series and will be reading the Dark Hunters series next.

This book was really good. It was very real. Teenage problems, with zombies and a secret power thrown in there. Recommended to everyone 13 and up. =)

Sherrilyn Kenyon writes a great story. Not only was it funny, but it had lots of action and a little romance in there too.

Sherrilyn Kenyon writes the adult series Dark Hunters, which is in my list of books to read. But of course i have too many in my list. Anyways, even though i didn't read those ones yet, This series was so easy to follow and get into. She fills in alot of info, just enough to get what's going on. Can't wait for the next one.

Fans of the Dark Hunter series will thoroughly enjoy the beginning of Nick's story. Nick is a young teenager unaware of what he is. Kenyon puts in a great twist that definitely will lead to exciting things to come. Although this is a teen book, it would fit just a nicely into adult fiction.

“I don’t intimidate you at all, do I? (Acheron)
Well, when you chased me through Kyrian’s house, I did wet my pants a bit. Guess I’m not housebroken after all. My mom will be so disappointed after all she went through to potty train me. But once you let me live…your big mistake…now I know you think I’m too cute and fluffy to kill. (Nick)”
