Minoru Fukushima was a nine-year-old boy living in Vancouver, Canada, when Japan's bombing of Pearl Harbor thrust him into a world of racism. He and his family were forced from their home, dispatched to internment camps in the interior of British Columbia, and finally deported to Japan. Directed by Minoru's son, the film artfully combines striking animation with archival material.
