Fair – Across the Hall (2009) 88 min. It’s difficult to conclusively determine what to make of this film. The film is atmospheric providing the gothic setting of an old hotel, dark foreboding lighting and score but in the end, I’m not sure it all came together matching plot and mood. It’s a well-produced crime thriller about a love triangle gone wrong without much of the thrills. This is one of Brittany Murphy’s last films.
