I LOVE this series!!!! We first got it on Netfilx while my Grandma was here. We were instantly hooked!!! Especially my Grandma, since she loves shows like this (she watches a lot of Korean Soap Operas). Christy is a great heroine, who wants to help the poor children in the community she's working in as a schoolteacher. She wants to reach out to the people who live in those tough mountains, even though they seem so hard to get to, what with their easily wounded pride and stubbornness in tradition. Unwittingly, she catches the eye of two men: David, a young pastor, and Dr. Mcneil, a widowed Irish mountain doctor. Christy finds it very very hard to choose between them and her calling as a teacher. Oh, what will she do? I love this drama series because of it's suspense, love story, action, emotion, and storyline. Excellent, excellent, excellent! You can never tell who Christy is going to go with throughout the series. Although the ending was a MAJOR disappointment to me, I give this five stars because of how well-acted, how thought provoking, and just how wonderful it!
