If you want to know what goes on in the mind of a family when a child goes missing, this is for you. I found myself floating my eyes across the page and having to tell myself to pay attention. I didn't get all the way to the end. Too many good books waiting to be read.
Inspector Sejer is the police officer in charge of the investigation into the disappearance of a young girl. The book is set in Norway and was translated to English by Charlotte Barslund. I found the thinking behind the characters to be very compelling. You are drawn into their thoughts and why they act in a certain way. It was a very interesting mystery.
A girl goes missing in a small Norwegian town, and thoughtful Inspector Sejer takes on the case. Astute and unnerving.
