I recommmend this book to readers who are learning about folktales. This book is a very interesting read simply because, after every folktale, it gives the background of that tale told, such as where it originated, or who the author might have heard it from. Most of these folktales, I really enjoyed myself because they were entertaining and intriguing to read. Young readers, as well as older readers, will enjoy this book and grow a stronger understanding and enjoyment for such folktales. This book is quality children's literature and it also haves pictures in it in order to help get the point of the folktale across.
