In a pre-emptive strike against plagiarism, the University of Lethbridge makes sure all its students know it subscribes to a web site which has the technology to scan student essays for duplicate passages. Vice-president Seamus O'Shea says the university is experimenting with Turnitin.com, a website which provides professors with an originality report.
