Lethbridge Historical Society to Honour First Visitor to Teh Area

Peter Fidler, explorer, surveyor, mapmaker and fur trade, was the first person to record a visit to southern Alberta in 1792. As a centennial project, the Lethbridge Historical Society will erect a monument telling the story of Fidler's visit to Livingston Gap, about 35 kilometres north of Coleman on the Forestry Trunk Road; Carly Stewart.
