I read the book and loved it. The made for TV movie is a major blockbuster because the film version, both parts, ABSOLUTELY SUCKED and that's the truth in a nutshell. What a waste of time and major disappointment. A butchering of a fantastic book and it shouldn't have been remade-if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

First off, the first part of the movie was way better than "Chapter Two". The second movie could have been at least a half-hour shorter, all of the juxtaposing from past to present and back, etc. made me think I was watching a current Clint Eastwood movie. There was greater use of CGI this time around, providing for some really scary bits: The Chinese restaurant for one and the nostalgic visit to the old apartment for another. Really SCARY! But on balance, the first movie was the better show.

Like the original miniseries, the first half with the kids is the best part. There is a lot, I mean A LOT, of exposition. Still decent enough. Just not a much fun as the first.

Scariest of the two horror chapters, with excellent actors and acting!

Overall very good movie! Not quite as good as chapter 1 but still really good. Lots of suspense and it was definitely creepy at points. Lots of jump scares, some expected but still scary. The acting of the characters is really good. Some parts are funny which I liked. The only reason I couldn’t give it five stars is because there is definitely some weird parts (turtle) and the ending. Luckily It’s final form was way better than the old It chapter 2 but still not great. The final battle was just dumb to say the least and was slightly cliche. Other than that awesome movie. The fun house part awesome along with the baseball part. This movie was awesome (especially for a sequel) Overall awesome movie until the end! Wish they could make a chapter 3 even though it’s not likely....

The best thing about this movie is that IT IS OVER, no more sequels.
The horribleness of these movies is the true nightmare.

I waited a long time for chapter 2, and missed it in the theaters. However, it certainly did not disappoint! It was scary, and I enjoyed following the characters as they navigated both life & trying to destroy "It". However, at nearly 3 hours long, you'll need an intermission. I think they could have cut quite a bit out and it would have been just fine. As it stands, it was much too long, but still enjoyable.

The long awaited sequel to "It: Chapter 1" is well worth the wait! It hit me so unexpectedly, like a flash of lightning. Could it top the first chapter, which was about the children's past? You bet it did!

The casting director and writers did an excellent job picking the adult actors for the film. If the kids weren't a perfect fit, these adults surely are! I liked as well that they chose some comedians for the characters that are meant to be hysterical. It was unconventional, but also worked out quite well.

I felt like this film has a little bit of everything, and while traditional horror fans may not find it amusing, I thought it was hilarious as hell. Can it be considered campy? A little bit, but I felt like the 3 hour film that it was went by so quick, you'll be surprised like "Avengers: Endgame." It's the swan song to this great novel and film franchise.

I used to think it wasn't possible to write a less informative movie title than "The Entity," but this movie has proven me wrong.
