A fine example of the “Lad Lit” novels popular in England today, this is the story of a cool young Londoner and his beautiful wife, both working as writers for magazines and both icons of the age so glamourously portrayed therein. Here the cool guy grows up, hearing his biological clock ticking loudly as he finds himself one day admiring a romper-suit in Baby Gap. Funny, astute observations written in a warm and winning style make this the perfect read for anyone on the cusp of 30 and not too shabby for the rest of us!
