I baked quite a few breads from this book. Overall, the breads all came out quite nice. It is best to measure out flour by weight and not by volume as some of the volume measures are off.
and 9 x 5 loaf pans may not work for those single loaf recipes.
"Amy's Bread" is a great companion to have in the kitchen. I would rate myself as a novice bread baker and really enjoy this book. The explanations are simple, but extremely informative. I haven't tried too many of the recipes, but the ones I have are delicious; the instructions in the recipe are extremely helpful as well, since Amy tells you what should and shouldn't be happening with the dough you are working with. I definitely recommend!
