Violence: Mostly limited to punching, energy beams, and guns. The blood is very minimal. And, as the title suggests, Superman is killed in the end.

Coarse Language: "Damn" and "Oh God" are as strong as it gets.

I'm glad I read this simply because it is such an iconic moment in the Superman franchise, but as for the actual plot it is a poor story. The whole thing comes off as one drawn out fight scene.
