Add a CommentOne of my Hallmark Hall of Fame favorites. It's a sweet romantic-family movie.
The plot is simple and can realistically happen based on the culture that the movie has set in. I noticed no offensive language which is highly commendable. The movie touches on family relationships and communication, friendship, forgiveness, setting priorities and moving on. It does teach a different view (e.g. marriage, soul of a dead man). All these can be good discussion point within the family and reinforce the truth in the light of what the Bible has taught.
Another of my favorite movies! You can usually count on Hallmark Hall of Fame movies. Great character development and great fun to watch the relationships grow and change between the husband and wife. Wonderful acting on the part of the mothers also. Loved it!
As unrealistic as the basic premise is, and as predictable as a plot can be, this is still a wonderfully sweet movie. It's a must-see for anyone who is a romantic at heart!
a touching movie filled with warmth, humour, and love.
