Bendis's characterization of X-23, is jaw dropping, vomit in anger "That is not F$%^ing Laura!" level of inconsistent with all previous interpretations of the character.
I just pray her next writer doesn't confuse his total mis-characterization as development.
Not bad, but may be where the wheels fall off for Bendis.
Carrying on the adventures of the first set of X-Men, stranded out of their own time. This is only marginally better than the last volume, because it includes an issue written by other writers, competent writers who actually care about continuity and understand characterization. The writer for the bulk of the collection, Brian Bendis, is incapable of such distinctions.
