There are numerous examples throughout this book of misidentified photographs - ie: either Olympic or Britannic identified as Titanic, or some other combination. In fact, there is one photograph which purports to be the Britannic in her hospital ship livery which is not only not the Britannic - it is not even a White Star vessel! (It is Cunard's RMS Aquitania.)

While these sorts of errors are not unheard of in books about the Titanic, author Tom McCluskie was at one time the senior archivist at Harland & Wolff shipyards - a role which one would think would have helped him avoid such errors; he, of all people, should be able to tell these ships apart!

It makes the serious researcher wonder how many other factual errors the book may contain...
