Despite the high merit of this film's director, actors, and studio artists, I cannot recommend it. The musical score, written by some schmo named Nicolas Hooper, is absolutely dreadful. I have a trained musical ear, and Hooper's total disgusting mess is impossible for me to listen too. It is just too --- I can't think of a suitable word. John Williams, who wrote the first three scores, must be absolutely disgusted that the studio followed him with this total incompetent. At one point in the movie, I even heard a fragment lifted from the theme song to "The Magnificent Seven" crudely thrust into an impossibly confused and incoherent passage trying to imitate the styles of Britten and Prokofiev simultaneously.

I love this movie so much I watch it so many times my sister got annoyed at me.
I think people are crazy when they say that the kid actors fall flat I think they did amazingly.
And I love how they brought Bonnie wright in it more. And the last seance is awesome.
And they did umbridge really well she's so evil and annoying and a really good actor because
apparently she is really nice in real life

This is certainly my favorite of all the Harry Potter movies. I watched it three times and still laughed at Filch.

My favorite character is definately umbridge, they did a wonderful job on her. Bravo!

I just wish they'd done a better job on the magic, the battle at the ministry was mainly people turning into smoke, like, why didn't Sirius just turn into smoke to avoid falling through the tapestry? Whatever. They still did the best job on this of all the movies.

This is one of my favorite movies of them all. They got a great young actress to play Luna Lovegood and the creation of the Order of the Phoenix. It is also the start of better CGI - which leads to an amazing climax battle scene at the end - that although not true to the book - was great to see and played out wonderfully.

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix is the fifth movie based on J.K. Rowling’s novel. This year will be different for Harry because at the end of last year he came face to face with Voldemort. Most witches and wizards do not believe Harry, but Dumbledore does. In order to protect Harry, his friends, and anyone who does not support Voldemort, Dumbledore brings back The Order of the Phoenix. At school, Harry learns that the new defence against the dark arts teacher is Professor Umbridge, a government worker sent to spy on the staff and Harry and his friends. When Harry learns that she is not going to teach them how to defend themselves, he starts his own club to teach people to fight, Dumbledore’s Army. If you enjoyed reading this novel I would recommend watching this movie, although there are a few plot differences. I would not recommend a younger audience watch this movie as it is very dark. If you like the other Harry Potter movies you will love The Order of the Phoenix. I rate this movie five out of five stars. @SapphireReads of the Hamilton Public Library Teen Review Board

Now in his fifth year at Hogwarts, Harry learns that many in the wizarding community do not know or refuse to acknowledge the truth of his encounter with Lord Voldemort. Cornelius Fudge, Minister of Magic, appoints Dolores Umbridge, as Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher, for he fears that Professor Dumbledore will take his job. But her teaching is deficient, and her methods of discipline are cruel. Harry prepares a group of students to defend the school against a rising tide of evil from both Umbridge, Voldemort and the Death Eaters. This was a fantastic movie to watch. The imagery was amazing especially during the fighting scenes, when creating the elf house, Kreacher, and creating Sirius Blacks house – Grimmauld Place. This movie was the first one that made me cry at the end and I’d highly recommend watching. Rating – 5/5. @Average_Bookworm of the Hamilton Public Library's Teen Review Board

the book for order of the phoenix was way better than any of the Harry Potter movies put together.CGI is AWFUL.I did like the lady they picked to play Umbridge though. And the actors they picked for Harry, Ron and Hermione were okay while they were young, but when they got older they were not very good. In my opinion this movie was really bad.
