Suspenseful storylines and fascinating characters drive this riveting new series from the creators of Prison Break. To help capture dangerous fugitives, two veteran federal marshals, Duchamp and his volatile partner Zancanelli, recruit three convicts who are master escape artists themselves. Lloyd leads the way as the genius with a wickedly sarcastic sense of humor and a talent for predicting behavior.

In the first season of the Breakout Kings a task force of two US Marshals and three convicts is formed to help capture escaped prisoners. As an incentive the convicts get a month off of their sentences for each escaped prisoner they help recapture. The task force is a motley crew for various reasons. One of the US Marshals is on probation for stealing money on the job. The other US Marshal has a heart condition that can cause him problems at any time. The convicts consist of an MD/PhD, a street smart tough guy and a former bounty hunter. The task force's computer expert is a washout from the Marshal Service training program. There is plenty of tension and action as the task force members learn to trust each other as well as work together.

this series for the most part has the assistance of incarcerated convicts to aid a federal agent (with a bad heart) and a crooked police officer(took money frm police holdings) with solving crimes commited by other escaped convicts.
overall, this series did capture my attention for all of 2 episodes before losing interest with the same plot for the entire series, whereas, my expectations for suspence& drama frm the producers of "Prison Break" were inevitable disappointing after the pilot show.Save yourself by not getting caught-up frm the writing within a 4-by-6 ft cell.
