Fabulous film making - very engaging and emotionally draining due to subject matter.

Previously, I had no exposure to Algeria/France issues so educational, too.

If you think that culture shock would be unbearable for an Algerian wife newly arrived in France, just add the most wretched in-law in Hades. This is a beautifully crafted story with characters whom you will not easily forget.
