This undated book was probably published in 1971, after the 350th anniversary of the establishment of Bermuda's first parliament, in 1620. The 48 colour plates, with their quite detailed commentaries give an idea of what the inhabited 7 or so islands (out of a total of 138 named ones) looked like nearly half a century ago. The historical section is useful, as is the geological (making allowances for the glossing over of the slave trade in the former, and assuming the latter is still accurate). The map in the inside covers is poorly drawn, but still helpful. As there is currently NO other guide book to Bermuda in the Chinook Public Library system, this is it!
