As someone who has not listened to the podcast, I really liked the book! It felt like something was always happening, and I rarely got bored of the story. The way the authors paint the scenes is so mesmerizing to me. The language they use…

I seem to make a lot of crass confessions on here, so why stop now? For someone who listens to a lot of audiobooks (or maybe because), I hardly ever listen to podcasts. When I saw this book on the shelves at my library, I knew nothing…

This was a strange one. A really fun read, but only if you set aside any preconception of the typical progression of a story. Also set aside logic, the rules of physics, the concept of time, and any sense of normality or personal safety.…

The creators of the popular podcast Welcome to Night Vale come to paper with the brilliant, fast-paced story about two women and their inter-joining goals on their search for truth and answers in Night Vale. This book manages to just as…

I know that people that really love the podcast series which the book is inspired by will really get into this novelization. I must be the exception as trying to read this was unbelievably hard work and much of the prose is clever for the…

"All hail the mighty glow cloud!" Welcome to Night Vale is a book based off the popular podcast with the premise of what if all conspiracy theories are true in this town. All the favorite characters, from the angels Erica (who officially…

If your reading this book without first having listened to the podcast I can't imagine what your experience is going to be. The characterization and world building of Night Vale is so strong and immersive that I had very high expectations.…

I would like to see Night Vale in the Autumn when the leaves are changing. So this book is based on a very popular podcast. I'm still not quite sure what a podcast is. I imagine those pods from "Invasion of the Body Snatchers," but I don't…

I love this book deeply, its funny and i think for those who have issues with their parents can relate to the struggle of the characters. Though i would listen to the podcast before reading the book.

The weirdest of the weird. I loved the nightvale podcast and this book is amazing in being able to carry across the story. I love that I can basically read the entire book in Cecil's voice!

Welcome to Night Vale, where a glow cloud chairs the PTA (ALL HAIL), librarians are terrifying hell beasts, wheat and wheat byproducts are illegal, and those hooded figures you see are definitely not there. If you're familiar with the…

If you are a fan of the podcast, you will surely love this book. I enjoyed the quirky descriptions. I read it and then got the audiobook. It is very enjoyable having Cecil read to you.

Welcome to Night Vale was a haunting, vague, inscrutable novel that, in book for at least, was not able to capture the quirky enjoyability of the podcast and kind of becomes lost in its own intricate yet flat wordplay. I count myself as a…

What really shines in this book, as in the podcast, is the emotional truth behind all the surreal, bizarre trappings of Night Vale. This is a book about friendship, parenthood, growing up, and finding yourself. It's touching and deep. And…

A delightful and existential comedy about the tragedy (and sometimes joy) that is American life. Remember - your shower is always there for you.

A friendly desert community where the sun is hot, the moon is beautiful, and mysterious lights pass overhead while we all pretend to sleep. Welcome to Night Vale. This book features side characters from the popular podcast Welcome to…
